The U.S. Soccer Federation has agreed to settle a lawsuit brought by female players regarding equal pay, potentially ending the lengthy dispute. In addition to promising to equalise pay between the men’s and women’s national teams, the settlement will include $24 million to be distributed among several female players — most of which will be backpay.
